Hey guys and gals:
I found this website while looking for ideas on what to do for the upcoming Strategy & Roadmap assignment. I thought it was cool, and I think it might help some of us generate ideas for this assignment.

Hey Isabel: I have to say, I am intrigued by this idea for a Pokeswap. As a Pokemon fan, it sounds like a great way for people to get together and have fun. You are right that for the hyperlinked communities […]

Hello Everyone:
I hope you all did well on your Assignment X projects. I know we haven’t had much discussion (or any discussion :(), but I hope you all did well.
Anyway, I just wanted to put this out there: on TV it said that today was national margarita day. So, this evening, wherever you are, be sure to head down to the pub or bar and have a…[Read more]

Dang! This is pretty good, Paige. You raise quite a few good points in terms of Automation. After all, you are right that with automation, library professionals would be granted more time to help users virtually […]

Hey guys and gals:
So, first off, happy belated Valentines Day. Hope you all enjoyed your time with your loved ones.
Anyway, I wanted to inquire if any of you have any ideas for a possible name for this assignment. The clock is ticking, and I’m sure that Professor Stephens would like to hear your thoughts.
Try and be as creative as you’d like.…[Read more]

*Low Whistle* This student of yours must’ve had a lot of time on their hands! Some of these are pretty good. I like the “Proposal for [insert specifics here, service or program] Innovation”, “Future Forward Report/Model”, and “Forward Motion Model”.
And, in regard to “expansion”, how does this sound: The Model of Forward Expansion?
See you later, @michael-
@ajrodgers Hmmm…pondering.

@michael Quite the variety. I just prefer hot chocolate, with a little cinnamon mixed in, and a few marshmallows on top.

Hi Professor Stephens: Thanks for the update. BTW, which do you prefer on a cold day: a cup of hot tea, a cup of steaming coffee, or a sizzling cup of hot chocolate? Sincerely, Aaron @ajrodgers

Here’s another idea for the assignment’s name, Professor Stephens. How does “The Evolution of Libraries” sound to you?

@ajrodgers I think that is too broad for this assignment. I am liking “The Expansion” thought…like expanding your knowledge on foundational ideas.

Very good, Aaron. I have to agree with you: while change is inevitable, for a library to change it must be due to its service to the public, and not because of how much technology has changed, or what some people […]

Alright folks, I know that we all have our own things to do, but I am a little saddened by the lack of discussion within this group. I created this to help us exchange ideas and help each other out with the upcoming assignment.

Odd, I thought I had already joined the group but it made me join it again. Anyway!
I like The Expansion better (and not just because I’ve been watching The Expanse :P) because Outreach Program sounds more like a project about reaching out to a specific group or community.-
@ajrodgers @wallacepaige99 This assignment is meant too focus on competency…which means understanding… I like “expansion” …what might go with it? We have a Roadmap after and Report after that.
