Occasionally throughout the semester, Michael will host a social hour for the class in the Hyperlinked Library Commons on Zoom.
- These are optional “drop in” sessions for students to ask questions, share or just chat. We might also have a guest speaker or conversation with a practitioner. There are no mandatory sessions but students are encouraged to attend if schedules allow. It will be a way for us to check in and keep in touch. Sessions will be recorded.

Class Chats Schedule:
- June 7th at 1pm PT / 4pm ET – Class Social Chat and Q & A
- June 21st at 1pm PT / 4pm ET – Assignment Q & A Session at 1pm PT.
- July 12th at 1pm PT / 4pm ET – Michael Casey, author of one of our foundational texts and Director of Customer Experience for the Gwinnett County Public Library in metropolitan Atlanta, will join us at 1pm PT. We’ll talk a bit about his libraries and answer any questions you have, etc.
- August 2nd at 1pm PT / 4pm ET – Class Wrap Up & Symposium Launch
