Hi Sara!
I really enjoyed reading through your inspiration report! I enjoyed you highlighting and defining important key terms as well as the history of podcasts. I think you laid out the pros and cons of podcasting very well, and I certainly was persuaded to consider implementing podcasting as part of library programming.

Hi Jeanna! Can you clarify which part you are confused about? I meant the hallucinations that come with AI generated works, where it will cite research articles that don’t actually exist.

Hi Maggie!
That’s a great question! I’ll have to steal that one in the future 😀 It might be a little hard to incorporate into a library survey as it’s very open-ended and would require a person to review every answer themselves, but it’s a question that I would love to see in surveys. It’s such an interactive question that really invites you to…[Read more] -

@christinew Aaron’s column on questions was a real eye opener for me. I quote it often when I am speaking with librarians here and there. My favorite question for library users? “What would make your life easier?”
-
Hi Christine! Schmidt’s article also stood out to me. My favorite question is “Tell me about a time when you were focused and lost track of time.” In addition to trying to work this into a library survey, I could see this question being used effectively in a reader’s advisory conversation. I’m looking forward to trying it!

I was able to import the OPML file successfully into the Feedbro extension I use on Firefox for RSS subscriptions! I had some issues last semester trying to figure it all out, but I think I’ve become more comfortable with using feed readers now.

Hello @christinew Thanks for sharing your interests. This course may help you hone in on what type of information environment resonates with you. Lots of CYOA will help you explore too.
Welcome to #hyperlib!

Hi Christine! It’s nice to meet you. We share the same name but I mostly go by Christie or Chris and I also live in San Francisco! I was very interested in psychology and was going to declare that as my major at SFSU, but I ended up in the interdisciplinary studies with a concentration in Art Administration.
Looking forward to learning more with you in this class.
