“I just wanted to comment for the person who asked about going to laundromats. I work in my library’s outreach department. We have a program we call “Read While You Wait.” We have 5 locations in our village, including 2 laundromats, an accounting firm, an urgent/primary care medical office, and a county health department office. Once a month, we check on each location and restock books as needed. We mostly get books and magazines that have been weeded from the collection. Sometimes we will use new books that were leftover from the summer reading prize books. I’m happy to answer any more questions about the program.
