What in the world? That tree/bench/bookcase is the coolest ever! My dad is a tree trimmer and loves books so I sent him a picture. I went to the link in the caption, but there wasn’t any information as to where one can find this masterpiece. Do you have any idea where this is located?

@royaflin Wishing you all a speedy recovery. Paxlovid was great but the side effects were less than desirable!

@michael Oh gosh, just went I got over being overwhelmed with COYA! Fluidity is not my strong suit, so I will probably stick with the OG due dates. But I appreciate this in case I need it!
Sincerely,
Someone who needs guidelines to stay on track 😉 -

Roya,
Beautiful piece. Thank you for going to so much effort to share your story and to remind us to appreciate and highlight everyone’s story and to try and grapple with our own bias.

Maggie,
I just flipped through your PowerPoint and not only did it work, it was exceptional! I was engaged and moved with every click. Thank you for sharing these insprirational observations of middle school students. Middle school is when most humans experience some of the most overwhelming changes in their lives and school becomes almost…[Read more]

@emmizo Absolutely – I think Christian would hold up archives just as he does libraries. Thanks for the informative post… great pictures!

Super cool. If only I had a time machine, I would apply! Exciting to see so much passion in a library position posting. Those usually lack inspiration. I wonder if the position still exists?

This is exactly the example I was searching for–connected the community with archives, getting them involved, and dispelling some of the mystery of archives.

Great chat, thank you @michael for arranging it. I was able to attend but I think I just showed up as “iphone” on the screen. I need to figure that out! All my classmates had really good questions and I enjoyed sharing my lunch break with you all!

This is powerful post. I am sure this resonates with anyone who has lost someone and has still has questions, questions that will never be answered. You are offering us a concrete solution. I would give almost anything to hear my grandmother’s voice again. I can almost conjure it up now. . .but not quite.
I also appreciate how well-thought out…[Read more] -

I love this as well. The idea of “consistency in treatment” is lovely, however I have worked in customer service in retail for almost thirty years and where I work we have the same mantra. However, sometimes it can be very challenging. I really do appreciate all of these positive messages about service and I am totally behind this way of thinking.…[Read more]

@emmizo I am sad. That was a good one. Looks like the ACRL site is having issues. I updated the resource to go to the library project page.

Good Job Denise,
It is so easy to immediately respond to anger with anger and become defensive. When you remain calm and friendly and provide them the information they need it can open a door to a positive exchange and possible relationship. -

@lauraw, I did a little overkill last year to save my blog for my e-portfolio. I have a copy of each one as a document in my google docs, I imported my entire blog into a different wordpress account, and I took a screen shot of each one! I am a little nuts though.
-
@emmizo No shame in that game! Can never be too careful with that portfolio.
