I’m not currently working in an archive, but I have some experience recording and working on an oral history archive project. In my job, I’ve come into contact with folks from the NYC Trans Oral History Project. It’s an amazing oral history project that is devoted to the collection, preservation, and sharing of trans histories, resistance, and resilience. It’s accessible via their website but it’s also in collaboration with the NYC Public Library (and archived there). They invite new story contributions and make oral history training materials accessible for new interviewers. I think this aligns well with the Hyperlinked library framework – inviting public participation and creation, using new technologies to embrace change, activating archives for the public!
