I have seen this posted on Facebook a few times. Every time I see it, I think of how often I have been that person trying to hold it all together and trying not to show it on the outside. I wear my emotions on my sleeves, so not looking like I am an egg cracked in a million pieces but taped back together with really bad tape is hard. Many times when I have been in this position, God has sent someone to reach out and care enough to stop and listen. Sometimes, just talking about the issue helps, as the burden is being shared with someone else.
There have been a few times that I was really falling apart, but needed to go grocery shopping. My heart would cry out to God for help, and He would send a friend to the store to meet me. My friend never knew why she had the urge to go to the grocery store right then until she saw me and knew why she was there. God had sent her just for me.
This also reminds me of the Kintsugi method of filling the imperfections with gold. That is what my relationship with Christ does: He fills in all my imperfections and makes me valuable through His blood. My weaknesses are made strong by His blood, holding me together. @mariahaeflinger
