The Digital Life Librarian will contribute to implementing a holistic program of change across the Planning, Environmental and Cultural Services Division in collaboration with the section leadership team and in consultation with the Townsville community. This will involve leading the Cultural Services Section on a transformative journey focusing on the needs and aspirations of the Townsville community developing a culture of customer-centricity and personal accountability; and reshaping how we deliver services to maximise value.

    This is so fun to fantasize about! Living and working in Australia–the episode of “House Hunters International” just writes itself. I really appreciate how the posting opens up with a Land Acknowledgement of the Indigenous people to the area.

      @lauraw Yes – House Hunters International FTW. It’s a very different process to buy a house I have heard…bidding and such.

      The Australian folks and New Zealanders have made the Land Acknowledgement of the Indigenous an ingrained event in everything. It is always so well done. When I was in New Zealand, they actually sang and Maori song to the conference.
