Updates & Blogging

Hello everyone,

Over the past few days, I’ve had the opportunity to catch up on your blog posts—and I just want to say how impressed and inspired I am by the depth of your reflections, the creative use of media (including some wonderful AI-generated illustrations!), and the thoughtful engagement with course themes. Your explorations of participatory service, emerging technologies, and user-centered innovation continue to energize this space.

I also wanted to share a quick update from my side of the screen. This fall, I’ve taken on a new role as Graduate Coordinator for our school—stepping into some of the responsibilities previously held by our associate director, Dr. Linda Main. It’s been a meaningful (and busy!) learning curve: signing candidacy forms for graduation, reviewing various requests from students, and generally navigating the complexities of this new administrative role.

On top of that, I’m serving as chair of our college’s Retention, Tenure, and Promotion (RTP) committee. We’ve just received this year’s dossiers, and I’ll be working with the committee on evaluations over the next several weeks.

All of this is to say: I may be a bit quieter than usual, but please know that I’m here, I’m reading, and I’m cheering you on. The work you’re doing is thoughtful, curious, and engaging—and it matters.

Keep going, stay connected, and remember that our course embraces fluid dates. Reach out anytime!
