Hey all – Honored to do research in 2021 with Lecturer Emeritus Debbie Faires and SJSU School of Information graduate Nikki Rudiger. This was published in the Journal of Education for Library and Information Science 2021 Vol. 62, No. 4 DOI: 10.3138/jelis-62-4-2020-0093.
Take a look if interested. I am fascinated by what we called the Student Power User.

I related to so much of the article! I would be interested to do a similar survey for parents and students at my school, so we can ensure we accommodate their needs. Thank you for sharing!
@hfergie Yay! It would be interesting to see how parents keep on top of things with their devices…and how they connect to school and other parents.
Thanks for sharing! I think the options for accessing learning using mobile devices are great. Particularly, I like the audio/podcast type lecture files. I do tend to like the routine of sitting at my computer and taking notes, but sometimes life doesn’t allow for it. I think the ability for multiple routes of access is so important to accommodating the varied needs of students.
@kperez I am all for listening or watching in various ways. Will always make those channels available. Panopto is a well-designed tool in that regard.
