I’ve been devouring all of the episodes of the podcast This Is Actually Happening (so many wild true stories!), and I just discovered the comedian Josh Johnson (yes, I do live under a rock), so I’ve been going through his many YouTube clips.

Hi everyone, I have recently started binging A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder, and I am so excited! I read all the books and loved them. Another series I have binged is the 2nd season of House of the Dragon!
-
Hi Jemielyn, I just finished the 2nd season of House of the Dragon as well (team Black fan)! I haven’t checked out A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder yet so will have to get on that soon since I’m actively looking for a new, fun thing to binge.
-
What did y’all think of the finale? I saw a lot of negative reactions to it online, but I enjoyed it!

I really like This Past Weekend with Theo Von and try to never miss a podcast. He is just such a character and I love that he has no filter. I also love that he will interview people like Pauly Shore and Tommy Lee, then just a few weeks later interview Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump. What a trip.

I’ve recently been binging Stephen King short stories, Junji Ito stories, and re-binging the first season of True Detective. I love rewatching shows that I adore and getting to experience it as a previous viewer and noticing small details – I’ve actually watched Game of Thrones 3 or 4 different times all the way through!
-
Hi! I just watched Game of Thrones for the very first time about a year ago! Loved it. And I’ve been meaning to watch True Detective, so thanks for the reminder. : )
-
Which short stories are you reading? I have Night Shift but my library hold of Everything’s Eventual just came in… I think I am going to start with 1408.
-
I am currently reading You Like it Darker & Skeleton Crew! Danny Coughlin’s Bad Dream in You Like it Darker was soooo good.

Currently loving That’s Pretty Dark, which takes a deep-dive into the folklore, cultural, and urban legend origins of 90s kids shows/movies like Are You Afraid of the Dark and Hey Arnold. The hosts give so much attention to detail. It’s great! A little niche, but great!

I just read Incidents Around the House in 2ish days. Also, We Used to Live Here (which started as a nosleep Reddit post!). Both were great. I liked Incidents Around the House a lot.
I will be binge reading Stephen King in September / October because I love spooky books to kick off my fall season – looking to read Carrie, Night Shift (short…[Read more]-
Hi, Carlee! Night Shift is so great!

Hi Terri! I just got first editions of all of the above so am so happy to add them to my personal library.

@crlhayd How cool!!

@crlhayd Night Shift was a HUGE deal for me when I discovered SK. So good.

King is my favorite author of all time. The first book I read by him was Desperation and I was a young teen, about 14. It was in an airport bookstore. It immediately hooked me but now my favorite novel by him is 11/22/63. I also recently found a copy of Regulators by Richard Bachman (King’s pseudonym not sure if you knew that) which is the…[Read more]

@crlhayd My aunt game men her paperback of Salem’s Lot when I was 11! (I think I commented about that already…) I read it like mad and then read everything that came out all through the 80s and 90s. The Stand was incredible.
