Grading Question in Chat

Hey all – After I stopped the Michael Casey recording, @elena asked a question. A great question came up about the luid dates and how grading works in INFO 287. I wanted to follow up here for everyone’s clarity and peace of mind.

As assignments come in, I’ll be reviewing and grading them as promptly as possible—not always immediately, but certainly with the aim of providing timely feedback so you can carry it forward into upcoming projects.

Also, I’m beginning to read through your blogs with a browser window filled with open tabs of your first posts, and you’ll start seeing comments from me soon. I love seeing student thoughts take shape and evolve!

A quick reminder: Reflection Blogging is cumulative. I’ll assess your five required posts (plus any additional ones you include) once they’re all completed and you submit your blog URL later in the term. No need to worry about individual grades yet—focus on thoughtful reflection, connection to course content, and how your ideas progress over time. I’ll post more details about the final blog submission closer to that date.

Thanks again for your curiosity and participation!
