I have not heard of Psychological Safety and didn’t know that it is a “thing”. I thought it was simply an intrinsic part of being on a team. I work at a college theater department and I believe our dept chair has provided (or set up) psychological safety for our “team,” our staff and faculty. We feel psychological safety as we work together in a professional and respectful manner, so we are able to produce spectacular and impressive shows!
@natalie, it really didn’t know it was a thing either, and that term was new to me when I discovered it. I think it’s a really good thing to focus on and to be aware of. There was none of that when I worked in the public library in the 90s and 2000s. (Says the old man!)
