Thanks for your comments. Your mention of book lockers made me realize I forgot to add that to the list of things we do! We have two book drop boxes in the community that we are responsible for checking every day. We get anywhere from 0 to 150 books a day from those bins! We have a year-long reading program for grades 1-5 called Reading Dragons. When they get to a certain point in the program, they get a token to use in the vending machine for a free book.
