For my Innovation Strategy and Roadmap, I am proposing a partnership between my library, Fountaindale Public Library District, and Southwest Suburban Immigrant Project.

Hi Jen,
I had a great time reading your proposal! My local library also has many resources for immigrants and New Americans such as citizenship preparation classes, books, and ESL collections. I think your proposal is pertinent to your target community, and many patrons would find this inclusive program beneficial to achieving their personal goals. When I was doing my grant writing class, I came across this grant that might work for your initiative (https://www.ala.org/aboutala/Building-Library-Capacity-Grants).
Hi Ruby,
Thanks for your kind comments. That grant does sound like it would be perfect for a partnership like this. I will keep this in the back of my mind if we are ever able to get this going.
