This is such a cool idea! I could see myself implementing this in my library to show new and veteran patrons alike the different library offerings we have. I agree with Rachel that this is a trailblazer idea! It would be fun to do it in September, during Library Card Sign-up Month.

Thank you for your comment! People come to the library to become connected, whether that be to information resources, other individuals in the community, or just to the atmosphere of learning. It is so important to make sure everyone has a place in the library and, as you said, that they are seen and heard to meet the need for belonging.

I also hope to one day learn Spanish! I highly recommend SPAN 132 with Aurelio Días-Ferreria if it fits in your course load. I am pretty hopeless when it comes to learning languages, but this class made me feel confident enough to use some Spanish when assisting patrons!
