This is such a cool project idea! I especially love your proposal to link digital archival materials to physical collections using QR codes. It is such a simple way to encourage patrons to delve deeper into a topic and draw attention to potentially underutilized area of the collection.
One thing the musuem could consider when thinking about how to address the digital divide is loaning cheap tablets to visitors who do have or want to use their phones, so they can still scan the QR codes. The tablets do not have to be anything fancy! Just something with a camera and Internet access.
Overall, your proposal looks great.
