It has been such a pleasure working will all of you this term! For my virtual symposium submission, I decided to comb back through my reflection blogs and turn them into blackout poems! I found this tool to do this online, though doing this by hand is certainly fun!
It was interesting to re-read the posts, especially the earlier ones and see the ways my reflections evolved. I enjoyed zoning into singular resources to doing a deeper reflection. Being able to synthesize my coursework with my professional experiences has also been rewarding; I found connections between public library and academic library spaces that I don’t think I would have found prior to this course! I greatly appreciated seeing the many directions my peers went in when it came to creating and completing the work for this class.

@staciwright this is so cool. I am obsessed! I remember when word clouds were the big thing and I always appreciated what they revealed. But this is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing!

Staci – this was so clever! I really enjoyed reading through these. It was a nice distillation on each assignment. I avoided AI this summer semester, AI was the topic of inquiry this past school year with my fellow teacher librarians. Reading your black out poems was a nice way to reengage with the topic before going back to work tomorrow!
