For this assignment, I wanted to focus on the topic of infinite learning through a participatory learning program designed for library staff that ideally ventures off into librarians developing strategies to support a lifetime of learning. Click the link below to access!

I really like that you focused on library staff as the starting point for infinite learning instead of jumping straight to patrons. It makes a lot of sense that librarians need firsthand experience with participatory programming before they’re expected to facilitate it for the community. I also appreciated that you acknowledged practical challenges like scheduling, liability, and limited space. Those details made the proposal feel realistic rather than just aspirational. It was a thoughtful reminder that supporting lifelong learning starts with creating opportunities for staff to learn and grow too.
Thanks for your report, Ruby! Like Dawn, I was happy to see a report focused specifically on library staff that promoted health and wellness. Our jobs can be hard sometimes, and while this is also a fantastic way to both plan and participate in a program, the program itself also has a positive impact on staff. Merely having the program at all demonstrates an organization identifying a need and providing a solution; here, of course, its own staff. Great work!
