Thanks, @raeharvey! That’s a good point about support groups! Maybe studying support groups would be another way to support these community dialogue programs (or even bring in a social worker or therapist to help facilitate some of the more sensitive ones?!).

This is such a cool idea! I could see myself implementing this in my library to show new and veteran patrons alike the different library offerings we have. I agree with Rachel that this is a trailblazer idea! It would be fun to do it in September, during Library Card Sign-up Month.

Thank you for your comment! People come to the library to become connected, whether that be to information resources, other individuals in the community, or just to the atmosphere of learning. It is so important to make sure everyone has a place in the library and, as you said, that they are seen and heard to meet the need for belonging.
