Hello!

Hello everyone! My name is Maria Ramos-Yoo and I have been working as a Teacher Librarian on an emergency credential for the last two years. I chose to enroll in this class to learn more about connecting and learning from other librarians in an online format in order to help improve our librarianship roles. What I am most excited about in this class is getting the chance to create new projects using digital media platforms I have never used before. My LIS area of interest is STEAM library programs and how those programs can help elementary and middle school students become curious about information in any format. I live in Northern California with my husband, two sons, and two dogs. In my free time, I love to listen to audiobooks, paddleboard, and travel. Looking forward to learning from all of you.
