Hi @brobinson,
I like your topic. My husband and I have been having some interesting conversations about VR and the reality of its success in business the way that big tech companies like Apple and Meta envision it as a new workplace. I think VR is a great technology for libraries to expose people to, to have the ability to try new things, and accessibility options. 🙂

Thanks for sharing, Barry. It still seems like sci-fi tech, but there are so many fascinating ways it could be used.

I enjoyed your inspiration report on virtual reality! VR is something that has always intrigued me but I actually didn’t know the origins of it. I absolutely think that the future will be all virtual, whether it’s social media, AI, or virtual reliaty. The movie that comes to mind when I was reading your report was “Ready Player 1”. I loved that movie and how they portrayed the virtual reality world. I wish to explore more of the Metaverse and virtua reality as a whole but the cost of equipment is definitely a high factor to weigh. I’ll have to save up some money to enjoy this cool tech!
