    Hi Iris!
Wow I love this idea and I love how it was presented! After going through the slides I am convinced this would be a worthy innovation for the San Gabriel Library. I love that this would create such strong connections amongst the community from the diverse population to the partnerships the library would make with small businesses and restaurants. Logistically this makes a whole lot of sense using the mobile kitchen, I love that those already exist! I am such a proponent of food being an avenue for connection and this proposal matches that sentiment and also aligns well with the mission and vision of the LA County Library already. It’s clear a lot of thought went into this, so kudos to you and if this were my library’s program I’d sure be there!

Thank you for your kind words! I think Charlie Carts would be quite valuable, especially with smaller libraries where space is at a premium and was surprised at the amount of equipment they can store.
