Meet the Curator: Chelsea Jones
Hi! I’m Chelsea Jones, and I’m a lifelong learner dedicated to building a bridge between academic rigor and practical, everyday wellness. The Grounding Library and Gallery is where my love for meticulous, data-driven information meets my personal passion for grounded living.
My Foundation: Education Meets Evidence
My core belief is that informed growth begins with a fact-driven foundation. My education reflects this commitment to understanding human potential:
- AA in Social & Behavioral Science
- BS in Psychology
- MLIS Candidate (Emphasis in Special Librarianship & Digital Services, expected Fall ’26)
As an information professional, I’ve mastered the art of curating credible resources. This discipline directly informs my dedication to sharing science-backed tools—such as grounding, yoga, meditation, and breathing techniques—that have helped me navigate life’s greatest challenges.
My Journey & Expertise
Throughout my career, I’ve served in varied roles—from education and public safety to horticulture and human resources. This wide-ranging background has equipped me with a unique skillset, blending the meticulous attention to detail required of an information manager with the compassion necessary for direct care services.
Now, I am focused on fulfilling the next goal in my journey: becoming a librarian and utilizing these diverse experiences to curate this space for connection and intellectual reflection.
My Corner of the World
When I’m not diving into research, you can find me coupling these evidence-based tools with my greatest joy: curating gardens and embracing the grounding power of nature.
I share the Earth, and my orbit, with my amazing spouse, our precious corgi, Sunny, and all the friends and loved ones we’ve met throughout our travels across many states (CA, AZ, ID, NE, OK). We now happily reside with our family in the Northern-Rhine region of Germany.
