Innovation Strategy and Roadmap

For this assignment I decided to be inspired by what we have seen throughout the modules and something that I know is missing at my public library: a teen space. This is the group of people that we seem to have a more difficult time reaching out to and I think that we would benefit from programming that they would actually like to attend and from an added space dedicated to them. I know we don’t have the space or money to expand the library I work at, but I will be using this assignment to create an Innovation Strategy and Roadmap centered around what I would be inclined to do if we had the new space and money to build a teen area in our library in order to draw teen patrons in. I had a lot of fun working on this presentation and at times felt I was getting a little carried away (like did I really need a marketing strategy that long?), but I just really enjoyed this assignment. I hope anyone who reads this enjoys it. Thank you!

    Hi Stephanie,
I think this is a great focus, as often teens are one of the hardest age groups to cater to. I think creating an area where they can build community and explore creativity would definitely increase interactions and trust in the library.
