Hi everyone,
Reading through the modules, I was intrigued by the Impact Compass. From experience from the library where I work, numbers are very important to measuring the things that happen at our library. I’m sure that that stands true for many libraries out there. The idea of focusing not just on those numbers, but measuring the ways that a library is impactful and valuable to the community through attention by questioning individuals rather than professionals was something that I really liked. Reading through the Toronto Public Library report on the study that they conducted thanks to the initial Danish one was very interesting as it was really fleshed out and they used the same consulting company from the original study.
