The idea came from my own experience, as I have been working for this organization for almost two years. I have also seen the high demand for these resources and the great impact that they can have.
I’ve spent a lot of time driving around California, and I’m always amazed by just how many areas have terrible cell service; likewise, the pandemic highlighted just how terrible some people’s home broadband really is, but between the cost for home internet and the infrastructure issues that make cell service questionable, there are definitely people being left behind who just don’t see the point.
Excellent work attempting to bridge that gap.
