These were inspired by Dr. Stephens’ post and colleague’s responses… I’m intrigued as to what could be in the boxes, and so I wanted to try and write a couple. fwiw – ymmv. 🙂

Challenge Ideas For Me:

Return someone’s shopping cart for them

Acknowledge / say thank you to someone when they do something kind for me, like hold a door

Acknowledge / say thank you to anyone serving me in a restaurant

Acknowledge / say thank you to anyone serving me in a civic setting (DMV, Post Office)

Hold a door for someone I don’t know

Random text to a friend reminding them that they are important to me

Take any opportunity to pet a fur-friend (ask the owner first!)

Buy someone a book I know they want (comic, analog or e-book)

When browsing at the book store, put books back where I found them

Use “please” with any request

Do the dishes after a dinner party I’ve been invited to

Read with a child (ask the owner first!)

Let someone with fewer items go ahead of me in line

Praise someone’s strengths or talents, or even for something they are trying

Acknowledge someone’s contributions in a group setting
