  1. This is very inspiring Tessa! I so love the ideas around culinary and edible libraries, they offer so much potential. We have a children’s community garden next-door but it would be great to do even more like you are doing. I’ve also long coveted the kitchen carts I saw in articles about the Free Library of Philadelphia 🙂 – Heather

    This is a wonderful idea for a library to add to its services. I especially like how the garden is year round because it gives patrons the opportunity to come in at any time to learn about gardening. Also, helping people learn how to cook is great because these are important skills to have.

  3. This is incredible! Libraries often have the mission of serving and connecting with those in the community, and this is a great way to do so through valuing their daily living needs. Collaborating with local businesses and programs to promote these additions to a library is a great way to get the word out while further connecting with the community. Great job!
