Hello there! – About Me
Hi all!
My name is Ashley.
This is my 3rd semester in the MLIS program at SJSU and I have been enjoying all the learning I have been able to do thus far.
I am personally drawn to public librarianship and the community building aspects of what it entails, so part of what drew me to this course was to learn and explore how technology can act as a tool to continue to connect libraries and become a pathway for access to resources, information, and connection to other communities worldwide. I had also heard many wonderful things about this course and Dr. Stephens from the friends I have made through the program and I was eager to take the opportunity to learn from him.
Please enjoy this infographic I made about myself below! The photo is from when I was exploring Sausalito with my partner and it was a rare sunny day!
If you have made it this far, welcome and I look forward to learning with and about everyone!

@ashleyho that is a really fun graphic you created and I was glad to learn about your interests. First thought: I like heights, but I do not like roller coasters. Your technical stuff background is super interesting and I think all of those things you list will become part of your expertise as an information professional. Love the idea of specializing in community programming.
Welcome to #hyperlib!
