@jcrystalc I love your photo collection. I think I shared your view of your childhood library, it was more about the books and tools inside than the space, but at the same time it had generous space for seating, tables, the card catalog and microfiche. My childhood library has changed quite a lot as the city of Riverside built a new facility and the old library building has been repurposed as The Cheech: The Cheech Marin Center for Chicano Art & Culture https://riversideartmuseum.org/visit/the-cheech/

Very cool! We were able to tour the Cheech after hours during a tour via the CLA conference in October. I also attended the arts and culture tour that your planning commissioner representative offered. Did the bid for the Arts and Culture go through?
