I’m Bevin. I’m a grad student (MLIS) & library technician.

I live on Vancouver Island (West Coast of Canada) and currently work in an elementary school (K-6) library. My background spans academic and public libraries—plus a brief contract in a prison library.

After a 13-year break to raise my kids (19,15), I returned to library work and continue freelancing as a copyeditor for a local lifestyle magazine. Sometimes I have the odd essay published here and there.

I stay sane with twice daily dog walks, true crime podcasts, and losing myself in a good book. My areas of interest are emerging technologies and public librarianship (youth services).
