Inspiration Report: Temecula Celebrates America 250

Drawing on the Power of Stories, our library aims to celebrate our nation’s 250th anniversary (or semisequicentennial) in 2026. Using stories of our own residents, their families, and local historical figures of note, we will engage with one another both online and in-person to share the patriots who helped shape our community over the last 250 years.

This is great! I’ve been to Temecula a few times, and I enjoyed learning about the history! This sounds like it would be a great project.

    Lisa,
Love the way this connects the community with the stories that built the city. And then to turn it into a celebration, what an excellent way to showcase the history of the community that built and contributed to the town!

Lisa, what a fabulous way to celebrate both the nation and the community. Love it.
