My name is Lauren and I live in central California and currently work as a teacher librarian at a middle school. My interest is in school libraries and I would like to continue my role as a teacher librarian for a long time. I was previously and ELA teacher for 8th grade for 6 years before making the switch to the library. I chose this course because I have heard great things about it and I am interested in how to expand access to library tools and resources beyond the physical library. I would love to learn ways to create a community through my school&#8217;s library and explore different technologies and outreach opportunities. I am excited to expand my knowledge of what a library is capable of providing for a school and community so that I can better serve my students.
