Hello everyone! My name is Tyrone and I am currently based in Fremont, CA. I was interested in taking this course because there are evolving technologies in the library space. I currently work as a librarian aide and one of the things I want to accomplish (besides getting more experience) is refining my customer service skills and establish better relationships with frequent patrons.
As time advances, there are new tools to adapt and integrate within the library ecosystem and I’m excited to see how this course adapts towards my learning. Additionally, I also am a designer (freelance – currently on a long hiatus) who is in the process of self discovery as far as what I want to do in 3-5 years. With my resume, ideally I would like to work in a tech environment since my background involves a lot of technology or problem solving with solutions on tech.
As far as what I’m into – I consider myself a avid sneakerhead. I am a big supporter of the Los Angeles Lakers. And I recently upgraded my office space! I pretty much have everything I need to tackle whatever work is in front of me head on!
Overall, I am excited to start Spring semester and getting this journey started!
