Hello everyone,
I am in my last semester of my MLIS at SJSU. It has been a wild ride and I have learned so much about libraries and archives. I chose this course because I was interested in learning more about a hyperlinked library and more modern technologies. I also thought it would be a fun course to pair with e-port in my last semester. I am currently aa a technical librarian/technical writer where I work. I also do configuration management and data management. I thought this course would go nicely with my work. In the future I am interested in being more hands on at the library and within archives. A couple of things about me, I have a horse named Sokka and dog named Toph. They got their names from the show “Avatar The Last Airbender” which is one of my all time favorite shows. I love going hiking and I live close to the Pacific Crest Trail. My husband and I like to go hiking up there when we can on weekends. I have been doing a lot of art over the summer and making time to learn new hobbies. One hobby I recently got into was Fly Fishing. I went up to Montana back in July and got to learn how to fly fish and sorry for the pun, but I am HOOKED. Fly fishing is extremely fun and very addicting. I like to be out in nature and I also love catching the fish and releasing them back into the water.
Other things that I find joy in are books and coffee. As an MLIS student, I am sure that most of my colleagues share the same love for books and coffee.
Cheers to a new chapter and getting my last semester at SJSU finished!
Here is a photo I took of my pal Sokka enjoying a desert sunset and sky!
