I have worked in small, rural libraries in Alabama and large, urban library systems in Colorado. As I reviewed the New Models portion of this model, I was taken back to my experiences in the Denver Metro. I would always ask one question: “Yes, but why?”.

Thinking back to my previous post, it is important to not harm. When we engage with our communities and introduce them to new hyperlinked environments, we must do so in a way that is considerate and ethical.
After reviewing this module, I have one specific environment in mind. Actually, although this module is titled Hyperlink Environments, one common synonym is Ecosystem. Much like ecosystems of the animal kingdom, technology ecosystems are interactive and responsive to stimuli.
