I chose to dive into the infinite learning inspiration report. I was inspired by my current library where we offer a few homestead programs to the public and know that people enjoy them. Within this report, you’ll find reasons why a modern homesteading program designed for the library users will help to build the community and help people connect with others like them. Enjoy!
Inspiration Report: Infinite Learning – Modern Homesteading Series in Public Libraries
Hi Carlee,
I really love the concept you pursued in your inspiration report!! Incorporating a modern homesteading program into public libraries is both innovative and immensely impactful for all kinds of communities. As someone who’s passionate about self-reliance and self-sustainability, I can see this initiative not only benefiting individuals, but strengthening connections among neighbors as well.
I personally love programs like seed harvesting, sewing, and composting. Libraries who offer these programs are truly listening and evolving to meet the practical needs of their communities. Also, the inclusion of digital workshops and hands-on makerspaces can make the program even better, making it accessible to more people, ensuring no one is left out. LOVE that :))
