So cool. I really appreciated the points on no longer “shushing” people–it’s great that more and more libraries are moving away from more punitive (if seemingly innocuous) policies. When I worked as a library […]

Hi Paige, I also really loved the Multnomah County video. I first watched it in a critical librarianship class about a year ago. I think it acts on a lot of points made by Fobazi Ettarh (one of my fave MLIS […]

Hi Aaron, You make a lot of great points in your post–nice job! I really like your note on libraries being classified as public spaces, and that “public space” implies a sense of community ownership. I think […]

Yes! It was a really rewarding experience with everything fresh in my memory this time around. I’d also watched more Lynch movies since the first time I’d seen S3 and that was great, too.

@annaharmon There is a new book by John Thorne that goes through each episode of season 3. Thorne is probably the most notable TP scholar. His ideas and insights are amazing. My thought is to read a chapter on the episode and then watch.

I actually re-watched all of Twin Peaks with two friends who hadn’t seen the series or movie before about a month ago! Currently watching The Sopranos, finished the epilogue for the game Hades, and looking forward to playing Darkest Dungeon 2 next month.

@annaharmon Did you watch Season 3 too? I still think about it and am planning a re-watch sometime soon.
