@micheal Safe travels to you! Will you be visiting any libraries on this trip? I hope to someday become an avid library tourist myself but so far haven’t visited any international libraries.

Your school is lucky to have you! You have a wonderful heart for helping students at such a difficult age and I appreciate your take-aways from this module. I love your discussion of “have to” and “want to” visits to the library – it’s a wonderful thing for kids to have a library that can be a safe space they want to visit.

Dogs as hyperlinks- I love it! My children love going to the library for read to a dog – our local library had a special day at the park/dog park this summer with all the program dogs so the kids could go around and read to them all. It was a great outreach for kids and pet owners!

@michael I really enjoyed “Citation Fixation”! I’ve spent more time than I care to think about fussing over capitalizations and commas and have definitely wondered if it was the best use of my time.

If I came across a job description that included “curiosity” it would definitely grab my interest — working with a bunch of curious people is the ideal place for me! I’m lucky enough to be a patron at this library and they are doing such a fabulous job of creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment. The work they are doing was part of what inspired me to start this program!
