  1. I so appreciated your presentation. This is extremely important especially right now when it feels like so many people’s stories are actively being erased around us. I loved that you included information on trauma informed care. I generally believe we should all have training in this type of approach especially in the library setting but also in our every day interactions. I was literally talking to my wife about finding a workshop/class about trauma informed care!

    1. Hi Rachel,
Thanks for your comments. I agree that first-person narratives and testimony are so important right now. I really want to do the Voice of Witness training…it would be a great collaboration with the SJSU too on stewarding stories.

  2. Hi,

I enjoyed viewing your presentation. It is such a timely topic. I liked that you mentioned it being an effort to democratize history and lift marginalized voices. Viewing recent events unfold has left a feeling of loss of agency, but being able to reclaim the narrative is extremely empowering.
