Appropos of nothing, I’ve been going back and forth and trying out different methods of organizing my school related files (assignments, lectures, readings etc.). I’ve always been organizationally challenged and perhaps now more so than ever given that I currently conduct much of my school work on two different laptops, occasionally utilize the Canvas mobile app, and save school related files to both my SJSU Google drive and personal Dropbox. One of the main challenges that I’ve encountered is making sure I’m accessing the most current version of a document from wherever I’m accessing it from. As of now, the best solution I’ve come up with is to upload all work in progress to one of my cloud-based drives but that, of course, is subject to my increasingly perforated memory.

Which brings me to the following point: How do we deal with version control, information overload, and organization in the Hyperlinked Library?

Thoughts? Suggestions? Seriously, the struggle is real.
