I’m watching in horror as my hometown burns and there are not enough resources to help. Friends have lost their homes, childhood memories are stolen away. It’s a complete freak tragedy right now in Sonoma and I encourage everyone to prepare for disasters because you just never know. And it’s something public libraries might already offer now that I’m thinking about it…

    • It sounds horrible. So much loss and sadness right now. I’m sorry that this is happening.

    • In the Gwinnett Library Collaborate session, Michael Casey spoke about people going to use the library during a Disaster because it had lights and wifi. I have a note to myself to write to him and tell him it’s a great idea to have a central location like his that can be used for this.

I’m in San Francisco, and go to the ABC News website for updates on the fires. Today when I went outside there was ash raining on me. I’m sorry for what you’re going through.
PG&E may be responsible for the fires, the news people are reporting on their site.
      Please stay safe.
